Last week we moved to our new place and I’ll have my alter pisted. I can only post, for now, on my tablet. Moving is one of those things that really takes everything out of you. I will need time to recover.
Unlike last weeks this one is pretty simple. Act when you know. This means when you find out something you act on it. If you find out that someone that you care about has broken the law then you act and you put that person away. Taking charge is hard but it’s needed.
I’m not sure what this one means and I’ll leave it at that.
This is the first one of the month and it’s ‘Be a seeker of wisdom.’ What does this mean? It means that you go out and you seek wisdom and you use the wisdom to help others. Being wise, and understanding things, is important. I think I like this one the best of all.
When the sun goes down this observance will take place. It’s dedicated to Demeter and we honor her as she’s lost her daughter, who’s down in the underworld. I hope that you will enjoy this holiday and may Demeter bless you.
This is the last one of the month and I doubt it was actually done. Speak well of everyone is something that I view to be impossible. We can’t, as human’s, speak well of everyone. There will always be those out there that we can’t stand. However, it’s funny that this is something that was looked up to when most everyone can’t do it even today.
When the sun goes down the new Athenian month begins. I had a great New Moon and I enjoyed honoring the Theio. Here are the holidays and festivals.

Have a good month.
This one, I believe, is pretty simple to understand. Fear deceit! Deceit is something that can harm people. It’s malice and nasty. Deceit isn’t a nice word because the action isn’t nice. To fear it means that you understand that it’s wrong and that deceit rots everything.
This one I will be observing, but only because I don’t have to work the next day. Now days the rituals that I do is based on if I have to go to work the next day. The only one that I don’t actually observe is Akheloos, who I know nothing about. I do hope that you will all have a good one
This is the next one and it talks about giving what you have. This reminds me of a story about a rich man that asked Jesus about how does he follow him. He said sell everything and follow me. Give what you have means helping others and using what you have to help them. At least that’s what I view it as. Of course the gods don’t want you to end up poor so give what you can and help him, or her, get back on their feet.
